Getting Here

By Car

The postcode for your Sat Nav is PL28 8PY – we recommend you only follow this until you are on the A30.
Then follow directions below as this is the easiest, most straight forward route. From experience, we know the sat nav will try and take you on all sorts of smaller lanes which are not advisable.

Via M5 (either from the North or picked up after A303/30) until junction 31 then take A30 towards Bodmin and then follow directions below *

Via A38 (Plymouth/Liskeard) join the A30 at the Carminow Cross Interchange (Bodmin roundabout) towards Redruth/Newquay and then follow directions below *

* Continue on the A30 until the Victoria Interchange (also signed for Cornwall services) and take the B3274 towards Roche/Victoria.

THIS IS WHERE YOU NEED TO STOP LISTENING TO YOUR SAT NAV!!

Follow this road for approx. 6 miles until you reach Trekenning roundabout – DO NOT TURN OFF RIGHT OR LEFT IF SUGGESTED BY SAT NAV before this roundabout! At some stage along this road your Sat Nav is likely to give up trying to send you off and re-jig itself to our directions!

At the roundabout take the 4th exit onto the A39 towards Wadebridge.

Follow this road for approx 2.5 miles to Winnards Perch roundabout take the first exit towards Padstow (B3274).

Follow this road for approx 3 miles and turn left towards St Merryn. At this junction you will see a brown sign showing Atlantic Bays Holiday Park.

After approx 1 mile you reach an offset crossroads junction – go straight ahead and after a further mile you will find the entrance to Atlantic Bays Holiday Park after you have gone past their sign, the buildings and grassed area on your left.

Please stop at reception to sign in, receive your information pack and the chalet key. You will be directed to the appropriate parking area which can also been seen on the image below.

By Rail – not the easiest option to be honest as we highly recommend a car for getting around whilst staying at the chalets - public transport is extremely limited.

However, Bodmin Parkway station has regular services and is approx 22 miles away whilst Newquay station has a less frequent service, being on a branch line and is approx 14.5 miles away.

By Air – again we highly recommend a car for getting around and there are rental facilities at the Newquay Airport but would suggest pre-booking. The airport is approx 11 miles away. This, along with car rental is an ideal option if you are located a long distance away and near an airport.
